Bastét is a Montreal oral care brand. We make one product, the Bastét French Mint Toothpaste: 10% pure, rod shaped nano hydroxyapatite in a 100% aluminium tube, made in Canada.
Nano hydroxyapatite is the mineral your enamel is made of. We built our formula around it at 10%, the concentration used in human studies, and surrounded it with ingredients chosen for the whole mouth: algin, a seaweed derived prebiotic, with xylitol, zinc citrate, green tea, coconut oil and lemon peel. No fluoride, no Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, no carrageenan, no titanium dioxide.
Our formula contains nothing corrosive, so it can live in pure aluminium with no plastic liner. The tube is the first thing you touch twice a day, so we made it something you want on your counter.
Bastét was founded by co-founders Alexandra Baker and Matthieu Savoie in Montreal. Alexandra spent her career as a buyer at SSENSE and Holt Renfrew. The formula took nearly four years to develop and launched in June 2026.
The name comes from Bastét, the Egyptian goddess of protection, pleasure and good health. Those three words still guide every decision we make.
Bastét ships across Canada and the United States from bastetritual.com, and is stocked by retailers including goop and La Maison Simons. As seen in Vogue Business, Glossy, Thingtesting and Yahoo.
