Bastét is a modern oral care brand built on a simple idea: your toothpaste should feel as considered as the rest of your wellness ritual. Our French Mint Mineral Toothpaste is formulated with 10% nano hydroxyapatite, the same mineral that makes up most of your enamel, alongside a curated stack of non toxic ingredients.
The name comes from Bastét, the ancient Egyptian goddess of protection, pleasure, and good health. Those three values guided every formulation and design decision we made. Made in Canada.
Most natural toothpastes remove harmful ingredients but don't replace them with anything meaningful. Bastét does both. We left out fluoride, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, parabens, carrageenan, titanium dioxide, and artificial colours and flavours, then built the formula around three principles:
Biomimetic mineral: 10% nano hydroxyapatite supports the mineral layer of enamel.
Balance: algin, a seaweed derived prebiotic, with xylitol, erythritol and stevia, chosen to work with your mouth, not against it.
Well studied actives: zinc citrate, coconut oil, green tea extract, and lemon peel, with no free sugars and no harsh surfactants.
Look for a stated percentage (10% is the level most studied), pure nHA powder rather than a diluted suspension, rod shaped nano particles, a low abrasion base and no sugar. Our full guide is on the Science page.

Our French Mint Mineral Toothpaste comes in a tube made of pure aluminium, with no plastic inner lining. Our formula contains no corrosive ingredients, so it doesn't need one. Unlike plastic, which degrades each time it's recycled, aluminium can be recycled again and again without losing quality. It also happens to look beautiful on a countertop. We believe good design and responsible materials should coexist, and that oral care doesn't need to hide in a drawer.

Used twice a day, one tube lasts one person about two months. We recommend keeping a second tube on hand so your ritual never skips a beat.
Yes on both counts. Bastét contains no animal-derived ingredients, and neither our products nor our ingredients are tested on animals. We are committed to clean beauty in the fullest sense: good for you, good for animals, good for the planet.
Once empty, squeeze out as much toothpaste as you can, remove the cap, and place the tube in your metal recycling. Programs vary by city, so check your local guidelines.

All orders are fulfilled and shipped from our facility in Montreal, Canada. We partner with Canada Post as our primary carrier for domestic and international shipments. To ensure your order reaches you efficiently, we also utilize a network of reliable global carriers, including USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
Most orders arrive within 3 to 10 business days across Canada and the United States. These are estimates, and transit times can vary with carrier performance, customs, and weather.
